Hi all, I have had a few questions regarding online casinos and poker sites that still accept players from the USA. As I stated in one of my previous posts, it seems that the issue is that the US legal ruling states that credit card and banking companies are not allowed to undertake financial transfers between US accounts and online gambling houses (casinos, poker rooms etc.)
This does not actually state that US citizens are not allowed to play at online casinos. There is a bit of a problem though. How do US citizens deposit money with an online casino? Well there are a few way still available. if you can get an account with an eWallet company you can deposit cash and get them to make the deposit for you. uKash, MoneyBookers, Neteller, Western Union can all be used.
The nest issue is finding a casino that will accept a US player. The online casinos are allowed to have US players but many casinos do not want legal issues surround players from the USA gambling at their casino. For this reason many casino software suppliers have installed an IP and address checking system. When you sign up to a casino you need to supply your name and address. Any address, town, city, zip code in the US will be blocked and the player cannot sign up. As an additional measure the systems inplace also check the IP address that you access the internet with.. any IP address in a range that is supplied by an ISP or network in the USA is blocked. So as you can see it can be quite difficult to get to play at an online casino if you are in the USA.
My searches and advice given to me is that the following casinos will accept players in the USA and will take deposits through an eWallet system:
